Apparently, there is some old wives tale that says that if you look in a mirror by candlelight before midnight on Halloween, you will see your true love/future spouse standing behind you in the mirror's image.
This creeps me out even more than the traditional ghost stories. Eep!

yeah, that sounds a might creepy.
But that old tale of saying "bloody mary" 3 times at midnight in the mirror? I did that once, at a slumber party I had when I was a kid. the third time I said it, a girl jumped behind me, so it looked like, in the mirror, someone jumped into the mirror. Scared the everliving piss out of me.
But, Bloody Mary didn't come and tear out my eyes, and thank goodness for that.
